Who you are contracting with

Apply Sharp is a product of Amy Makes Digital, a UK sole trader business ("we", "us", "our"). When you use Apply Sharp or buy a pass, you are entering into an agreement with Amy Makes Digital. You can contact us at any time at contact@applysharp.co.uk.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or continuing to use Apply Sharp, or by purchasing a pass, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this agreement and that the information you give us is accurate. If we change these terms, continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.

What Apply Sharp is

Apply Sharp is an AI-assisted drafting tool. It rewrites the CV text you supply for clarity, relevance and keyword alignment, and drafts a cover letter based on that text and the job description you provide. It is not careers advice, legal advice, or a recruitment service.

Intellectual property

Apply Sharp, including its software, interface, text, prompts, branding, name and logo, is owned by Apply Sharp and protected by intellectual property law. Buying a pass grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own personal job search for the duration of that pass. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, scrape or attempt to circumvent technical limits of the service.

You keep ownership of the CV text, job descriptions and other content you supply, and of the drafts produced for you. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service to you.

Acceptable use and prohibited use

You must not misuse Apply Sharp. In particular you must not use it unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe anyone else's intellectual property, to upload content you do not have the right to use, or to interfere with the security of the service (including malware, probing, automated scraping or bulk access).

Because Apply Sharp uses generative AI, the following are also prohibited: generating false or fabricated qualifications, employment history, references or credentials; impersonating another person or applying on someone else's behalf without their authority; producing illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive or sexually explicit content; attempting to bypass or "jailbreak" the model's safeguards; and using outputs to mislead an employer about who you are or what you have done.

You are responsible for the prompts and documents you submit, for having the right to use that content, and for how you use the output. We may filter or refuse outputs, remove or restrict content, and suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Rights holders who believe content produced through the service infringes their rights can email contact@applysharp.co.uk, and we will investigate and act, including removing content and terminating repeat infringers.

AI processing and accuracy

The text you supply is processed by a third-party AI model to generate your output. AI can make mistakes, misread documents, or phrase things in ways you would not. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete, is not professional, legal, careers or immigration advice, and must be reviewed by you before you rely on it or send it to anyone.

Your responsibilities

You must review every output for accuracy, tone and truthfulness before using it. Only submit information that is genuinely yours and that you have the right to use. Please remove sensitive personal data you do not need to include.

No guarantee of outcomes

Apply Sharp does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, or that any applicant tracking system will rank your application in a particular way.

Passes and payment

Access is sold as one-off passes, not subscriptions. Nothing renews automatically. Each pass has a fixed duration that starts when your payment is confirmed and ends automatically at the stated time, even if included optimisations remain. The Try pass includes 5 optimisations over 24 hours; the Job Hunt Pass includes 50 optimisations over 14 days; the 30-Day and 3-Month passes include unlimited ordinary personal use for 30 and 90 days.

An optimisation only counts against a limited allowance when a complete set of results is produced. Failed attempts and the free built-in example do not count. If you buy a pass while another is active, the new pass is queued and begins when the current one ends.

Amy Makes Digital sells Apply Sharp passes directly to you and is the seller for all orders, handling all customer service, refunds and billing enquiries at contact@applysharp.co.uk. Card payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe, which acts only as payment processor and is not the seller or merchant of record; we never see or store your card details. Access is granted only after payment is confirmed.

Because a pass gives you immediate access to a digital service, you agree that performance begins straight away when your payment is confirmed, and you acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once access has begun. This does not affect your statutory rights if the service is faulty or not as described — see our refund policy.

Accounts and fair use

You sign in with your email address using a secure link. Your pass is tied to that account, so you can restore access on another device by signing in with the same email. Accounts and passes are for one person. Unlimited passes cover ordinary personal job-search use; bulk, automated or shared use may be rate limited or suspended.

Nothing is sent to employers

Apply Sharp only produces drafts for you. We never submit applications, CVs or cover letters to employers, recruiters or job boards on your behalf.

Availability

The service is provided as-is and may occasionally be unavailable. Passes are subject to fair use, and features may change over time.
